Update: £1000 mark has now been hit! Many thanks to all that have donated but don't stop just yet ;)
Update: Over £700 in donations, so I've changed the target to £1000. It might not be possible but I am going to try!
In March 2010 just after his 1st Birthday, our little boy Oliver was diagnosed with Glycogen Storage Disease Type 3, a rare and incurable illness that affects only 1 in 100,000 people.
On Sunday 8th May 2011, I will tentatively ease myself over the edge and abseil down Guy's Hospital Tower in London, as my small effort (and by small I mean bloody scary! It's 500ft for Pete's sake!) towards raising awareness and funds for AGSD UK, a charity that really needs it!
I have to raise £175 so please donate, anything you can give will help loads.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
