When founder members of EBOG built the Clubhouse in 1962 they couldn't have imagined how many people would benefit from it over the next 47 years.
47 years however, is a long time for a flat roof to survive. Many volunteers have patched and filled the cracks over the years but the time has now definitely come for a new roof.
We have been fundraising since last Winter and have managed to do a third of it, but funds are needed to do the other two thirds.
2 years ago EBOG was fortunate to secure a Football Foundation grant which was spent on pitch drainage, something that had aways been a problem. The work is a great success, but has left the Club low on financial resources.
If everybody made just a small donation we could raise enough to finish the roof. Just the price of a pint would be appreciated, and would add up.

Christmas 2009 Update: Thanks to your kind generosity and efforts, the very worst part of the roof has now been replaced. There is still more to be done, but at least Vic will be able to sit in his chair again without getting wet! Thanks are due to Lee Sterry and Deardon Roofing who have battled through terrible weather to finish this part of the roof.
