My story

On 22 April, I will be attempting to run the London Marathon for the first time. It's going to be tough – and I'm not expecting a fast time. But the thing that will drive me on – and has kept me going through months of gruelling training – is thinking about the two great charities I am running for, both of which I have worked closely with over the last few years: Whizz Kidz and Action for Stammering Children.

You can donate to Whizz-Kidz on this page and this is what your sponsorship money could help to fund:

·       £100 would fund a child a day at a Wheelchair Skills Training course, to give a disabled young person the skills and confidence to play with their friends and siblings at school and at home

·       £50 would help cover the cost of an adjustable arm-rest to ensure the right fit for a child's wheelchair.

·       £25 would help pay for an adjustable wheelchair foot-rest to aid a child's independent mobility

Thanks so much for your support.
