We are all very saddened that Ed lost his battle on October 6th 2007.

He was an inspiration and fought his illness until the end. Ed thrived on organising his fundraisers and giving something back to all those who had helped and supported him over the last 5 years.

Ed was determined that his fundraising should continue and was keen to support Brain Tumour UK.

We would very much like to thank everyone at both the Heath Hospital and more recently Velindre Hospital, for the wonderful care and support they gave Ed and his family.

A walk to raise money for Brian Tumour UK (walk the world for Brain Tumours ,which was posponed from last October) took place on Monday 24th March and was a great success we raised nearly £5000 .

On 18th April we held a Spring Ball and Auction in memory of Ed at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff and raised over £20,000 on the night and with previous donations we were able to present BTUK and Cancer Research Wales with £15,000 each.

Our thanks go to everyone who supported these events as without you none of this would be possible
