My St Jude Radio-thon is back on March 26th and 27th.
In 1989 Country radio stations around the nation banded together to galvanize the power of their tens of millions of listeners in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. More than 240 radio stations nationwide raise more than $25 million annually for St. Jude through two day “radiothons” in their respective markets. Country Cares for St. Jude Kids, co-founded by Randy Owen of the Grammy Award-winning group ALABAMA, is one of the largest radio-thon programs in the nation and receives the full support of top country music artists. Since the program began, country music fans have pledged more than $250 million to St. Jude.
