Last year we participated in the walk-a-thon because we wanted to help improve the lives of children in India. We feel very sad and upset to think about young children having to work very hard when they should be laughing, playing and getting a good education. We would like more of you to help raise money for poor children in India.

We are raising funds to help Isha Vidhya in the UK build a school in the village of Vanavasi, near Mettur in India. Isha Vidhya aims to build 206 schools in Tamil Nadu, to educate rural underprivileged and disadvantaged children.
The school will educate 1200 children in nearby villages, teaching subjects such as mathematics, english, botany, zoology, biology, chemistry and computer skills.

Anything you can donate will be grateful and help towards educating children in India.
