SCAT is dedicated to the advancement of bone cancer research, to providing the best possible care and support at each stage of treatment and to improving the quality and dignity of life for all patients. We fund research, upgrade limbs, improve facilities for families and purchase specialist equipment.

My story

Right time to truely add some value. On Sunday 2nd August I will be dragging myself to London to 'compete' in the London Triathlon.

This will be my second attempt at this after having to give up my 6 year marathon career thru obesity! I have prepared for a few months and confident I can complete the course (just) my time was 2:47 last year and i hope to maintain my steady standard this year. I intend to raise money for a local charity which is close to my group of friends. www.ellisharrietclark.org.

Any donations to the charity for my efforts would be greatly appreciated. Anyone who wishes to see me in skin tight wet suits and lycra can watch me from 8:30 in the morning (sick bags will not be supplied).
