To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release of our millenial compilation of Portsmouth alternative music 'Original Aspect Ratio', we are giving away the last remaining copies in return for a minimum donation of £1 (more if you can spare it) to the The British Neurological Research Trust.
Postage costs will be covered by us so all your monies will be going to the right place.
**AFTER YOU HAVE MADE YOUR ONLINE DONATION, PLEASE EMAIL skif45@hotmail.com WITH YOUR ADDRESS DETAILS, USING THE SAME NAME AS WILL BE SHOWN ON YOUR DONATION, SO THAT WE CAN SEND ON YOUR CD**
We chose this charity as one of our favourite musicians, Tim Smith of Cardiacs, is currently undergoing neurological rehabilitation following a heart attack and stroke in 2008.
The British Neurological Research Trust was established in 1987 to support the research needed to find a method of repairing damage to the brain and spinal cord in patients suffering from the effects of various injuries and conditions including stroke, head injuries, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, birth injuries as well as degenerative conditions such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases (http://www.ion.ucl.ac.uk/research/hbir/spinal_repair_unit.htm for further information). The BNRT is a really important charity which makes a real difference to the understanding and treatment of neurological damage but unfortunately it remains under-funded.
