My story

Hello! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hearing Concern will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

SO - YES I am running another marathon!! Last year really was supposed to be a one off but I had no idea how addictive running stupidly long distances would be!

I'm really pleased to be running for Hearing Concern this year, as being able to hear properly is something I think we all take for granted until we can't do it anymore. Hearing Concern are a volunteer-led organisation who work to improve the quality of life for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. For more information Hearing Concern's projects and campaigns please visit www.hearingconcern.org.uk

However, as if running one at a time isn't a big enough of a challenge, this year I am actually going to be running two marathons on consecutive weekends.. the Paris Marathon on 6th April and the London Marathon on 13th April. Yes they are both the full 26.2 miles, no that's not much recovery time between them and yes I am mad! However, I'm a sucker for a new challenge, and Blind Dave (www.justgiving.com/7mm) is running 7 marathons in 7 days across 7 continents so compared to him I am still relatively sane I think!

THANKS to everyone who puts up with me talking about running so much, especially Russell and my family for coming to cheer me on at races, my fantastic Runner's World sub 4-hour group buddies, Kirkstall Harriers, and everyone who came to watch at London last year - it helped so much, please come along again if you can!

Many thanks for your support.

Eleanor AKA Tutu Much xx
