Hello
At the end of August 2009 I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the highest mountain in Africa, with a group of around 40 students from St Andrews University. Our aim is to raise £2200 each for ChildReach International. This money helps communities in developing countries by giving them the basic resources (e.g. water, food and education) they need to help alleviate poverty . As well as climbing Kilimanjaro, we will be visiting one of the ChildReach sponsored communities, in Tanzania, to see how our money has helped provide a better way of life for the community.
I'm taking part in this expedition because:
1) I want to contribute, in whatever small way I can, to help these communities
2) It will give me a first hand experience as to how people not as privileged as myself live their day to day lives
3) It will be a great physical challenge and adventure
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ChildReach International gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Please help by sponsoring me!
