I made it!!! Hurrah!!

It wasn't pretty but I managed to get round all 26.2 miles in 4 hours and 54 minutes - not exactly a challenge to the Kenyans but I got there in the end. And I managed to run all the way without walking at all. Made for some messy drinking moments, and I probably ended up wearing as much lucozade as I drank, but I got there.

Thank you to everyone that has sponsored me so far as we have managed to raise a really great amount of money.

And for those of you that are still thinking of sponsoring me, please do as we might be able to squeeze up to the £3000 mark if we really try.

The Children With Aids Charity is quite a small organisation but one that does some amazing work supporting the youngest people affected or infected by HIV. The majority of the children they help have to cope with bereavement, adoption, poverty, prejudice and exclusion. Those infected with HIV also have to cope with both the illness and the side effects of treatments, and an uncertain future at such a young age.

Anything that you decide to donate, large or small, it all adds up - so please, help my knees and ankles recover by donating whatever you can.
