Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Railway Land Wildlife Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Because I'm stuck in a wheelchair and will hopefully never to get to experience this again, I thought I would do a 3-mile 'roll' to raise money for the Railway Land Wildlife Trust. They are in the process of raising money in order to build a pavilion to study environmental change and will also provide education for disabled children and adults.

Although 3 miles doesn't sound like that far, in a wheelchair that isn't designed for long trips, it is quite a long way and I am having to buff my arms up quite a bit! I will be travelling along the sea-front in Seaford from Splash Point to the Boat Club and back and will have assisstance from my Mum, just in case I end up rolling in to the sea or something (the camber is a lot steeper than you'd think!)
