Story

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SPONSORED LOUISE!

I finished the race in 2 hours 21 minutes. I had a great day- thanks to everyone for all your support and best wishes. Louise xxx

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. My name is Emily Kenny. In October 2004, when I was 9 years old I was diagnosed with cancer of the liver. I had 9 months of chemotherapy and in February 2005 I had a liver resection at the Birmingham Children's Liver Unit. I am 11 years old now and thanks to the skill of the doctors and nurses who took care of me, I am better and I have started secondary school. As a way of saying thank-you to everyone who helped me, my whole family are now raising money for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation to help find a cure for liver disease.

In October, exactly 2 years since I was first diagnosed, my auntie Louise is running the Great North Run. She is training hard so please, please dig deep and sponsor her online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Children's Liver Disease Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor her now!

Many thanks for your support.
