Hi Everyone,
I still can't believe that in July I will be cycling 400km in 4 days...the last time I cycled was when I was 12 years old (over 14 years ago!). So as you can image, this is quite the challenge for me, not to mention the 'interesting' cycle wear I need to purchase...
Did you know that every single day over 700 people in the UK are told they have cancer. I knew the figure would be high, but not 700 people a day!
I know that I will never be a doctor or nurse who can actually make a difference to those people diagnosed with cancer & I can't thank the nurses enough who looked after my Gran in her last months. I understand first hand how life changing this illness can be and just how magically the nurses & doctors are with their patients.
Please help me raise my target of £1,200 (or they wont let me go...) & I'd really appreciate your support.
I'm sure you all know the donation drill already...but for those of you new to this site, all you need to do is click on the 'sponsor us now' button and follow the steps.
Thanks to everyone & wish me luck!
Emma-Dee

(Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you).
