My story
Hello!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Well, it looks like I'm on the move again - only this time it's for a good cause! I’m trying to raise £2995 for Veninos, the Venezuelan Children in Need. All money raised will be soley used to support the vital work that Veninos does in improving the lives of street and shanty town children in Venezuela.
In order to raise money, I will be taking part in the biggest and toughest challenge of my life by completing a trek (now don't faint) in Peru along the Famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu – one of the new wonders of the World! The trek will take place from 3rd – 12th September 2010.
In 5 days I will tackle the 40 Kilometres and 3 mountain passes reaching altitudes of up to 4,200m! Aaaaaaahhhhh!!!!
The Trek will be really tough (yes, I am panicking a bit) and for those of you who know me, know how lazy, unfit, and demotivated I can be. So you can probably appreciate that this will be a huge challenge for me, but I'm raring to go and have already made a start on my (soon to be) vigorous training programme. So any of you non-believers - watch this space!
