My story

 

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, and for the sponsorship. I have been so overwhelmed by your generosity. As one of the many surviving patients I know at first hand the agonising effects this disease has on both patient and loved ones. With your support, I know we can help find a cure or at least buy more time for sufferers.

You will be pleased to know that I completed the 14 days trek from Lukla to Everest Base Camp at 19,000ft. The route was mostly uphill with some very steep long and winding climbs.  We crossed about ten suspension bridges in total which were quite scary but the views were magnificent.
