As most of you who visit this page will know, my Dad passed away last year after a long fight against cancer. He was an amazing man who is sorely missed.

In the final years of his life the Nightingale Hospice in Enfield was a place that gave him enormous comfort and enjoyment. I'm massively grateful for the support they gave us - it was great to know there was always someone looking out for him.

I know that most of you will never need the services that the Nightingale provides, but I would appreciate anything you could donate as a tribute to my Dad and the brave man he was.

I completed the race on July 6th in a time of 1 hour, 24 minutes and 40 seconds - not bad going for someone with two crocked ankles! It goes without saying that the bit of pain I've been suffering is nothing compared to what people like my Dad had to go through as they battled cancer.
