The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £6m we need each year to fund our free care.

Story

Hey Guys,

My uncle Ken was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease about 2 years ago, and he passed away in August 2007.He spent his last days battling his disease at the new Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted.

So myself and my family are doing a walk in memory of him. I have also lost my uncle John and auntie Val to Motor Neurone Disease.

There are now 11 beds, and each bed costs over £85,000 to run per year!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hospice Of St Francis (Berkhamsted) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support.
