Thank you so much for all your help and support! I ran the London Marathon for the first time on 22nd April 2007, and am raising much-needed funds for Whizz-Kidz, a wonderful UK charity, which helps provide all types of equipment for disabled children. For many of these children, this equipment can literally change their lives for the better. Your support means a huge amount to me personally, but will mean even more to the children themselves.
Thank you to my wonderful husband, David, for his fantastic support and encouragement, as I take on this life-changing challenge. My children, Benjamin, Sasha, Eliana and Amber have also helped me to be able to practise running on a regular basis - they are very special too!
The Marathon was the toughest challenge (apart from having my children) that I think I will ever undertake, but the sense of achievement now that I am the other side of the finishing line is unbelievable. The high goes on and on! The crowds were amazing, and pulled us all the way, and the friends I made on route meant it never felt like I was on my own. Thanks to Anne, my running partner, and Bill who ran with me a few miles. Life will never be the same!
With lots of love to you all!
