A friend has recently suffered from a severe stroke and thankfully is in the process of rehabilitation.  My mum, at 47 years old, passed away 28 years ago from symptoms brought on by a stroke.  This Charity supports a better life for those who have been affected by a Stroke and conducts/supports research to improve stroke prevention, treatment and care.

On 2nd October 2016, I will be running 26.2 miles for my mum and Simon at the Bournemouth Marathon Festival 2016.  It will be a task and there will be pain, but this will not compare to what they have had to endure.
