Story
Rob Gauntlett and James Hooper have just become the youngest Britons to climb Mount Everest (8850m), having both turned 19 under a month beforehand. Congratulations to them on such an inspirational achievement!!!
Their climb was inspired by the fight of cancer sufferers close to them, and they have chosen to raise money for Cancer Research UK. They made a heartfelt appeal from the summit for supporters to make a donation on their behalf.
They have appeared in the national press following their success, and we hope that this will continue to generate support for the charity: they have already been invited to do many talks upon their return, of which some profits will go to Cancer Research.
They fought as hard as they could imagine on the mountain, and they want to come home to know that it was worth it. The cause and the support gave them so much strength on the mountain, so please express your recognition of their achievement by helping this charity.
Many thanks, and we hope at least that these messages bring a smile to your face in the same way that Rob and James derived so much inspiration from them...
