About EveryChild

Every single day over 30,000 children die from preventable causes. Hundreds of thousands more are abused, exploited or forced to survive in appalling conditions that we can barely imagine. They are victims of poverty, locked in a vicious cycle with little hope for the future.

EveryChild is fighting to change this.

We work with some of the world's most vulnerable and marginalised children to enable them to grow up free from disease, poverty and exploitation as valued individuals within strong communities. We work with children, communities and governments across 18 countries to ensure that every child has the right to an education, healthcare and to grow up in a loving family environment with a secure future.

Our work is always practical. We make sure that our projects, and the benefits they bring, can be sustained by the local community after we have left. This means that our work is not just a 'quick fix' for poverty. It takes root in the communities where we work, delivering lasting improvements in the lives of children and families.
