Express Group are a Ripon based company and are delighted to be celebrating their 25th Anniversary in 2013 and what better way to do so than by giving something back to the local and extended community that has been home to Express since 1988. Express Group are pleased to annouce that their nominated charity for their anniversary year is Saint Michaels Hospice Harrogate.

Our aim is to take part in organised events as well as creating some of our very own events over the year. One of the organised events we shall be participating in is the Leeds 10k run in July, we've assembled a Pic 'n' Mix crew to run, walk and crawl round the course, hopefully on the same day they started (they need as much of our support as we can muster, believe me). 

Saint Michaels Hospice is the only adult Hospice in the Harrogate, Ripon and Knaresborough area, located overlooking the peaceful and beautiful Crimple Valley. They have over 20 years experience offering highly specialised and high quality end of life care appropriate to peoples needs. Enabling more local people to spend the end of their lives where and how they choose through improved quality, choice and dignity. It is Saint Michaels goal to reach out to more people in the local community year on year and its our aim at Express Group to do our small bit towards helping Saint Michaels achieve their goal through various fundraising events throughout the coming year. 

This service doesn't come cheap and money doesn't come easy. This local charity receives limited government funding which amounts to a little under 17% of the entire amount required to run Saint Michaels, that leaves a whopping 83% to find, thats where you come in, yes you! Your reading this perhaps because you have a husband, wife, aunty, uncle, brother, sister or friend participating in a sponsored event or maybe your just one of the many valued customers of Express Group who want to wish us well with our fundraising efforts, whatever the reason there's one thing that links us all, we care enough to give.

Your donation small or large will mean so much to so many people in our community, Saint Michaels reached out to over 2500 people last year and they aim to reach out to so many more with your help. If you feel you can help us help Saint Michaels Hospice with a donation we'd be absolutely delighted to the point we could crush not one, but a huge bunch of grapes.
