Mountain Rescue will provide assistance to anyone who becomes lost or injured in the mountains, rural or urban for whatever reason. The service is provided 24 hours per day 7 day per week and operates in all weather conditions. Mountain Rescue in the whole of the United Kingdom is free of charge.

My story

Thank you for visiting the Extreme Cello 2008 fundraising page for Mountain Rescue (England and Wales)!

In July 2008, the Extreme Cellists (Clare Wallace, James Rees and Jeremy Dawson) will be climbing the tallest mountains in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland, with our cellos, and giving a performance at the top of each. We will be raising money, via sponsorship, for Aspire and Mountain Rescue.
