Some of you might remember my last excursion on a bike in Sri Lanka (550km and 1 cracked rib). During that trip I raised just over 10k. Now I'm back on a bicycle and this time in the heat and mud (just post rainy season) of Cambodia. 447km of dodgy roads and tracks over 5 days traversing the country and this time with a twist: if I hit my target of GBP 20k, I will complete the trip as Igor the Viking. Heart monitor to ensure completion.
Donating
For UK Tax Payers: Click on the "Sponsor us now" icon and make the payment via credit card. The reclaimable basic tax means that every Stg 10 results in Stg 11.93 reaching ICT. Its is also fast, secure and easy to transact.
For Non-UK Tax Payers: Credit card still the easiest but the fees are rather uncharitable at 8.9%. Alternatives are cash or a cheque to me, and I will make a lump sum TT to reduce transaction costs.
ICT continues to do great work in Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka and Kenya. A key ethos of ICT is that they work with local organisations to run their programmes, important for us as contributors as this means admin costs are kept to a minimum and hence most of our donations end up going where they are needed. I have covered the cost of the trip and made a donation so please be assured that ALL your charitable efforts will go to the kids rather than the Fallowfield Adventure Travel fund.
So please sponsor me and ICT Cambodia now!
Many thanks for your support. Tim
Stop Press: Cargill have very generously offered to match the sum of the donations. Now your generosity will go twice as far. Looks like Igor is going to have to do some intensive heat training.
