"So will you be doing that again next year?" someone asks me.
"Definitely! Of course! That was amazing! I could do it again right now! No problem!" I replied, struggling to walk.
The adrenaline and a serious amount of Lucozade Sport had clearly gone to my head.
With only a few more days to go, the Great North Run 2009 is looming rapidly and on this side of the start line, 13.1 miles doesn't seem like such a walk in the park. But the shoes are ready, the pasta is being consumed by the tonne and I am once again running on behalf of Bolton Lads and Girls Club, a very deserving charity in my hometown. They do some fantastic work for young people in Bolton and provide a truly amazing environment away from the potential troubles of school and home. Take a look at their website to see some of the recent things they've been achieving:

If you can sponsor me, anything you can give would be greatly appreciated and will help the club to continue doing their great work.
Many many thanks! Faye x x x
