On Saturday 9th May I will be attempting to complete one of the UK's toughest endurance events - The Fellsman. It's a 62 mile fell run. Yes, that's right - 62miles!! or 100km!! or 2 and a half marathons!! Whichever way you look at it, it's a bloody long way!
And, erm, not only that it's across the Yorkshire Peaks which is some of the toughest terrain in the country - over 11,000ft of ascent across mountain, rugged moorland and marsh.
And then just to make it even more challenging we need to navigate point to point, oh and half of it wil be through the night! Don't quite know what I've let myself in for but it's all in aid of Treetops Hospice Trust, a very worthwhile local cause. www.treetopshospice.org.uk
