Hello all.

Why am I doing this? A friend's wife is a CF sufferer and I had helped him on a vintage car rally over the Lakeland Passes a few years ago. This time I decided to put myself out a bit more and so I've committed myself to a 200 mile walk to raise funds for CFT. I asked Jenny Agutter if she would back my walk and she very kindly agreed.

I leave Bowness on Solway on 23rd April and head along Hadrian's Wall to The Sage Gateshead, then down to Middleton in Teesdale and pick up the Pennine Way to Haworth in time for the Railway Children Walk on Sunday, 6th May.

Training is going very well and I've managed 500 miles in the first eight weeks.

If I make my fundraising target, I'll increase the distance and target for next year!
