My story
Freedom from Torture, it sounds like a phrase that goes through marathon runners' minds when they're thinking about the end of the race. But it's actually the name of a charity doing fabulous work throughout the country for people who are survivors of torture and organised violence.
It is a sad truth that individuals from dozens of different countries are very much in need of the services that Freedom from Torture providers. FfT's clients have been through extremely traumatic experiences compounded by exile. However, the charity's work provides them with a range of therapies and practical support.

To raise money for the charity's work, I will be running three events: from Asia to Europe in Turkey, the Polar Nights Half Marathon in Tromso, and the 50km London Ultra. I'm a seriously lazy person, so none of these will come easy to me! To find our more about me, and my involvement with this great charity, please visit my blog.
