My story

Annmarie Millar was one in a million. A beloved, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend, she was a vivacious person with a zest for life. Annmarie never saved for a rainy day and lived every day as it came.

Annmarie passed away after suffering a brain haemorrhage in 2005, we were all devastated. However, we know she would want us to carry on and be positive.

That is why I decided, with the help of my friends Audrey Lockley, Gayle Crombie and Jen Geddes, to sign up for the challenge of a lifetime. It will be a fitting tribute to a special aunty who touched the hearts of everyone she met.

A warm welcome to the fundraising page of  'Fife's Flying Divas' and thank you for taking time out to read our story.

By taking part in a 10,000ft tandem skydive at St Andrews in July, we hope to honour Annmarie's memory, make a real difference and help raise funds for the Brain and Spine Foundation. The latter aims to maximise the quality of life for people with neurological disorders and reduce neurological disability by providing a national focus for research, education and information

And imagine the memories we'll be left with after freefalling to earth at a rate of 120mph...talk about hair-raising!

We are asking you to help us turn this challenge into a proud tribute to my aunty. All donations will be greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

Lisa Grattan, Gayle Crombie, Audrey Lockley and Jennifer Geddes.
