I MANAGED A TIME OF 5 HRS 36MINS 11 SECS. I WOULD LIKE TO SAY WELL DONE TO FIREFIGHTER PAUL BARTLETT FROM CHAGFORD WHO FINISHED ALONGSIDE ME WEARING THE SAME KIT WHO NOW JOINTLY HOLDS THIS RECORD WITH ME.

What's the score??

Well, I'm a firefighter at Greenbank Fire Station in sunny Plymouth, and my current challenge is this..

At the 2008 London Marathon on April 13th, I will be attempting to break the World Record for the fastest marathon in full fire kit.

To acheive this I must complete the 26.2miles in under 7 hours, whilst wearing the following gear: Fire boots, leggings, tunic, helmet and breathing apparatus.

Please sponsor me in this effort, any donations will egg me on towards my target, and go to a very important cause - Cancer Research UK.
