Throughout the summer I have been busy logging the chestnut trees from my coppice and I am only too happy for you to take as much as you need to keep the home fires burning. All I ask is that you make a donation to this site. The donations are in aid of the Nyaru Menteng Orangutan Sanctuary that is run by BOS (Borneo Orangutan Survival).
The sanctuary in the Indonesian part of Borneo cares for over 650 Orangutans, their aim being to rehabilitate the sick and injured and give vital TLC to the orphaned babies whose mothers have been killed.
In November 2009 I took part in a Sponsored Trek through the Borneo jungle, culminating in a visit to the sanctuary to see first hand the work that is being carried out by BOS. What an amazing experience it was and I can assure you that the money raised is well spent.
