I know that you have probably been asked a million times to donate money, so why exactley donate to this one?

First and foremost let me tell you a story, it won`t take long.

Once upon a time there was this girl, a normal girl just like you and evryone out there, she had dreams of becoming something more than people believed and all her life she fought for it. Sure, at the age of 9 she believed she would be an actress, then that dream turned to a lawyer. I guess that was the path eventually she choose. To get there she battled with death and abuse in her family, abuse in the school for being different, the pain of watching her closest family succumb to mental illness.  Each step was painful, each step she kept going. Untill one day she lost partial vision in one eye and was told she could eventually possibly get M.S.

That girl was me.

 The word " possibly "certainly did not carry much weight,possibly, meant it was  unlikely. But for recent months, when illness struck again, i lived with a hurdle of hospital tests to determine if I had M.S or  not.

Possibly , just stood in my mind, like an impending, unmoving image.

Can you immagine, living with the fear of never being able to do what you do.?

MS has various stages and severity levels but, it`s unknown.

Looking at my son and partner, I  immagined not being able to walk to the park, not being able to cook with them, roll in the grass, row the boat as the sun went down, dance underneath the stars.

Each night tears just rolled down my eyes, I was angry, hurt and no one was there.

Luckily, the diagnosis was wrong.

Yet, can you shut your eyes, for a moment , immagine, everything you take for gramted, dissapearing, dissolving into the background?

Ms strikes unknowingly, sporadically the next victim, yet racing money can help, help understand it, help people and families never give up. For even if the mind is stronger that the body, you need a reason to hope to go on.

This is why, I ask you to donate.

Nothing is for granted in this life except for hope.
