Gorgeous Jen lost her 2 year battle against Cervical Cancer on 31st August 2010. She was 24. Her strength through her fight was amazing, she was so brave. Even when she was close to death she described it as "being a bit poorly". She was always smiling and making sure that everyone around her was OK.
Jen made my son, Tony, the happiest man on earth on 16th January 2010 by becoming Mrs Goodridge and the saddest man on earth on 16th September when he buried her.
I am running several events in her memory and to raise funds for Jo's Trust. Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust (Jo’s Trust) is the only UK charity dedicated to women and their families affected by cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities. Their aim is to offer information, support and friendship to women of all ages, to help them to understand the importance of cervical screening, and to provide their own personal brand of support if their screening shows up abnormalities or if they are diagnosed with cancer.
