...but if that doesn't work here's a little bit about me...

During the admission in hospital for a stress related illness, I found that running had become an excellent outlet to balance my mood. I learnt to breathe through the barriers and think positively...

...that's when I decided to go for gold and support the alzhiemer's society as many of my family including my grandma have been affected by this debilitating disease that robs people of their memories and basic functions. I was heartbreaking to see people I knew and loved so well become a shadow of themselves. So gran and aunty- this one's for you! I'm sure you'll be smiling down on me come race day. 

Nationally, alzheimers is the lowest funded disease out of the 3 biggest causes of death in the UK but hope is here as thanks to some excellent fundraising, a cure or prevention could be in the pipeline
