Well, I did it! On the 28th of September 2008 me, the team, and some very sore bums arrived under the Eiffel Tower, triumphant, exhausted and utterly thrilled! What an incredible ride! Four gruelling days cycling through English and French countryside, hills a-plenty and head winds strong enough to blow me from my saddle, but we all kept going. There we some moments when it all got a little too much, but spurred on by everyone's support and the thought of what we have all done to get this far I carried on, and what an incredible feeling it was to get there! So thank you, everyone who has supported me, my dad and Yes To Life on this incredible journey, without you none of this would be possible. As you can see, the target has dropped from £25,000 to a far more reachable £15,000 after my dad's discussions with his doctors. They may have found a clinic to do the treatment for a lot less than previously thought. Of course this is great news and what makes it even more fantastic is that, with Andrew Burpitt's £1,700 that he raised for my dad, we are almost there!
