Last year I walked part of the Ruta de la Plata in Spain, the 350k from Seville to Salamanca in aid of the Brain Tumour Foundation and raised over £800. This year I hope to raise at least that amount for the Children's Brain Tumour Research charity by completing the second 350k from Salamanca to Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain.

I am setting off on September 18, 2008 and on the way I shall be staying in  the same accommodation that was used by the pilgrims making the walk in the middle ages. These are often old monasteries/convents or the floor of a local church. Along the way I shall be writing a journal as I did for the first walk and it will be available for all on facebook.
