My name is Frances Paine and I am currently a first year Medical Student at the University of Warwick.

This summer I will be hiking the St Jame's Way for Cancer Research UK in a bid to raise money!

The walk itself is 815km and will take me about 35 days from start to finish. I will be starting in Saint Jean Pied de Port on the 22nd July and aim to finish on the 28th August in Santiago de Compostela. Along the way I will stay in church run hostels, but will carry all of my kit with me, throughout the walk.

I hope that this small challenge will inspire others to raise money for charity as well, as together we can all make a big difference!
