UPDATE: Unfortunately, I injured my ankle during training last year and had to postpone my marathon. I'M NOW RUNNING THIS YEAR, so lot's of extra training and fundraising!!
Total raised before the 2009 marathon (a whopping) £794.80! Good effort but lets keep going (safe in the knowledge it's me, not you, puffing and panting all those miles) and hit that target!
I'm running the London marathon as it's one of the items I wanted to tick off the 'bucket list'. The money raised goes to Help for Heroes.
As ever I never like to make life easy so I'm aiming to run it in under 4 1/2 hours - anyone who's watched my efforts on a Personal Fitness Test will realise the challenge!
