We at Fraser Wealth Management are taking part in the Liverpool Santa Dash as part of the Going For Gold Sports Fundraising Challenge to raise funds for the Prince's Trust. Given the fact that we're all getting on a bit (except of course for Lesley) and include a recent heart attack victim, boy is it a challenge!!
We need to raise a minimum of £500 but we want to raise a lot more to give us a chance of winning the Going For Gold Trophy.
The Prince's Trust is the UK's leading youth charity and helps over 40,000 young people each year. Around one in five young people in the UK are not in work, education or training. Youth unemployment costs the UK economy £10 million a day in lost productivity, while youth crime costs £1 billion pounds every year.
The Prince's Trust addresses this by giving practical and financial support to the young people who need it most. The Trust helps to develop key skills, confidence and motivation, enabling young people to move into work, education or training. Last year, 81% of the people the Trust helped went into work, training, further eductaion or regular volunteer work.
