The Harrogate Homeless Project is the only direct access hostel in Harrogate and the District, providing emergency accommodation and support for those who are homeless. Only 65% of our running costs are met through statutory funding and other grants, so we constantly need to raise money in order to continue.

Harrogate Homeless Project is an independent charity, established in 1991 to provide emergency accommodation for the homeless in the Harrogate district. We rely on donations as our statutory funding is not enough to cover our running costs. We are open 365 days a year and provide accommodation for up to 16 people, plus a daily drop-in service. *£30 would cover the cost of running a drop-in session *£40 would pay for a bed for the night *£20 would buy 10 emergency foil blankets for those forced to sleep rough when we are full *£5 provides 5 people with a shower and a hot snack
