The CYPPD - Children and Young People's Protection and Development.
CYPPD is a Mongolian based non-governmental organisation that since 2002 has been helping as many youths in Mongolia as is humanly possible. They are based in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of the country, and thus many of their activities are focused there.
The ever so hard-working staff at CYPPD help children who are homeless; children who are being abused or are at risk of abuse; and children who are, or are at risk of becoming, victims of the sex trade, human trafficking and other exploitative activities such as child labour. Any donation that comes from you goes toward creating a new centre which will be used to deliver CYPPD's services to vulnerable young people and their families. It will help them to combat the sexual exploitation of young girls and educate children who have become trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty and are forced to work to support their families. As you can see, it's not all about driving a ridiculous vehicle a third of the way around the globe, there's a serious side to this as well.
