Hello everyone, my name is Vicky and I would like just two minutes of your time to tell you how I came to be doing the China Challenge. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I was talking to a good friend of mine a few months ago who has done fostering for many years and she mentioned that she had put her name down for a trek on The Great Wall of China. Well, after two or three minutes she had sold the idea to me and when she said 'I would just love to be going with somebody instead of by myself', that was it. Now I'm one of thirty very fortunate people who will be meeting up in October to take part in a once in a lifetime exhilerating experience. Not only will I be raising money for such a deserving hard-working cause, the Fostering Network; I get to walk on one of the world's most remarkable places of history; I'll be meeting people in their natural habitat and maybe even losing a few pounds. Can't be bad, eh?

About my charity:-  the Fostering Network are the UK's leading charity with over thirty years' experience. They have around 50,000 foster carers. Their aim is to make fostered childrens' lives better with the love, care, support and knowledge they have and they just want to give them a good start in life.
