Our beautiful mother, and loving wife Sweet Caroline sadly passed away on April 1st 2021. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the flowers were in bloom as Caroline slept peacefully, surrounded by more love than anyone can ever imagine.

Caroline was such a warm, kind, vivacious and incredible woman. She gave a huge amount of time, energy and love to a lot of people, which is why she made such a big impact on the world, and touched so many lives in her 57 years. 

We want to thank her for everything she did for us as a family. What her and Ben have created through their boundless love is something truly magical and rare. I really believe we have had some of the happiest memories on this earth, and will strive to carry this on in exactly the way she would’ve wanted.

Caroline was diagnosed in 2016 with neuroendocrine cancer, which she bravely and inspirationally fought for 5 years. She spent the end of her life in Dorothy House Hospice, a beautiful place very close to our hearts. 

Dorothy House provides compassionate, palliative care and support for people with a life limiting illness. The wonderful staff do their utmost to make the end of life passing as peaceful as possible, offering medical advice and emotional and spiritual support where needed, to both their patients and affected families. They also travel into the community to help patients at their own homes and in care homes to ensure comfort, ease and reassurance.

Dorothy House’s constant and professional compassion astounded us and we would love to give back. Sunday June 27th 2021 would be Caroline and Ben’s 34th wedding anniversary, and on this day we ask for all those that love Caroline as much as we do to raise sponsorship and take part in a 10k walk, run or cycle, wherever you are in the world, to donate and share this event far and wide!
