Story
When I was 11, I was taken into hospital with 'unexplained abdo pain' and for ten years, I was in and out of hospital with various diagnoses of various conditions which all turned out to be incorrect. When I was 21, I finally got the correct one. I have crohns colitis. This is a type of Crohn's disease that affects mainly my large intestine. It has made me very sick, I have had to change plans I had, adapt my working life and social life to fit within the parameters of my condition. It is not always easy.
Through the years I have had support from the Crohns Colitis UK charity, and they provide us with a lot of information and help when needed. Crohns is a condition that seems to be on the rise, more people need to be aware of it, and if you know someone with it, how to help them through difficult times.
To raise money for the charity, I am going to sing 365 song requests, chosen by you. I will record these and put them on YouTube. I will start the challenge on 1st May 2017. Get choosing!!
