I am raising money for Belfast & Lisburn Women's Aid. They are are a chronically underfunded and under-supported organisation that does incredible work with some of the most vulnerable women and children in our society. Unfortunately Covid has had an unseen but insidious impact on the rise of Domestic Abuse cases due to social distancing and increased isolation. 

Specifically Women's Aid "provide confidential support, information and emergency accommodation for women and children affected by domestic violence".  See the link below for more information on how how to contact them directly or access their services. 

To raise money I will be taking ice cold dips in the sea at Helens Bay every morning @7am from 1st - 7th Sept. No matter the weather.
