In June I will be travelling to the Banan District of Cambodia with VSO, to volunteer with young people in rural communities. I will be working alongside volunteers from Cambodia, to increase awareness of how business development and diversified agriculture leads to enhanced livelihood options for young people. Which in turn helps mitigate youth migration, and increases their chance of contributing to their community's social and economic development.

To volunteer on this project I need to reach my fundraising target of £800. I’m fundraising in support of all VSO funded projects, which benefit around 2 million people every year. VSO works through volunteers to fight poverty in developing countries. The volunteers' skills, knowledge and sheer enthusiasm make lasting and far reaching change in the world's poorest communities.
