So why am I doing it?

When pounding the streets of London in late April it will almost be 2 years since Gemma died. I think about her every day, I miss her. Whilst some days I think about how different life would have been, the general day to day logistics - running around chasing your tail (the selfish bit), I never stop feeling so so utterly devastated for Ottilie. So whilst I can feel sorry for myself, I am alive and have the most amazing daughter, who looks like she will develop into the same staggeringly unique women that her mummy was.

So the challenge; feel some pain, do some thinking, try and make Ottilie proud of her Daddy, and raise some money for a charity that I know Gemma would have approved of. EACH is an charity that supports and cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions and is based in East Anglia.

It is also worth saying that life would be so much more difficult if we didn't have those funny and loving memories of Gemma, the support of family and friends, and each other.

Fingers crossed I don't mess up on the day!
