Story
On Saturday 15th April 2017, three adventurous apprentices from Lantei
Compliance Services (Eleanor Kirton, Eden Stafford and Henry Booth) are taking part in an 11,000ft free fall parachute skydive. The fundraising event is being held at the Black Knights Parachute Centre at Cockerham, Lancaster in hope to raise a minimum of £395 each for St Catherine’s Hospice.
Lantei Compliance Services is a Preston based company who support a local charity every year. St Catherine’s Hospice is very close to the Lantei team’s hearts and making a difference to the local community is something the company feel strongly about.
St Catherine’s Hospice is the only adult hospice surrounding the communities of Preston, Chorley, Longridge and South Ribble. The hospice care for around 2,000 patients with life-shortening medical conditions every year and they support hundreds of loved ones through the high-quality care that is provided to the patients.
It costs St Catherine’s Hospice approximately £5.2m to run the hospice every year. The NHS provide the charity with £1.7m and the remaining £3.5m needs to be raised through dedicated fundraisers. This is the reason we are so keen to do as much as we can to support St Catherine’s Hospice. Every penny makes a difference, please give generously!
