Matt's Long Walk from London to Brighton
Fundraising for Battersea
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I discovered the London to Brighton trek late last year and decided agreed that it was just the challenge I needed for 2017. After signing up and choosing the fantastic Battersea Dog's and Cat's Home as my charity I set about creating my page on Just Giving to collect donations. That's where I find myself today, not previously having done any fundraising for a charity but determined to help out.
I aim to start early and carry through to the end in one near continuous walk of 100km with only brief breaks at the stop points. There is a plan for training which involves long weekend walks (30km to 50km) and this page will be plastered everywhere I can plaster it. My progress will be marked in updates on this page and I will be doing a few 5km and 10km runs leading up to the main event (all of this will marked in the updates).
